Hello I am nicolas, I'm from Argentina and currently studying engineering and I read a lot.
About my study
I am studing information systems engineering at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN-FRBA).
My interests
Photography , programming and reading. ( the order can change , depends on the day )
My non-Smalltalk experiences so far
About Programming : Java, Groovy , C/C++, Haskell , Delphy, Sql , Mysql.
Programming related: Design Patterns, DB ( Oracle, Mysql, Sql Server ), Git, Svn, Junit.
In my brief experience I have worked in very different positions
first : as objects oriented developer
second : as data base lenguage developer.
third: as system integration developer.
My Smalltalk experiences so far
I have used an learned Smalltalk at the university.
I have a strong knowledge in design patterns and objects related programming in other technologies, but I´am capable of merge this knowledge with the knowledge in Smalltalk and that will be beneficial for this experience.
Why am I interested in Smalltalk?
Why not? the language is elegant, simple and powerful. I really have loved Smalltalk from the beginning this is a good opportunity for use it again.
