Briefly about me
My name is Mariano, I'm 21 years old and I'm from Argentina. I'm currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I grew up.
About my study
I'm studying Information Systems Engineering at UTN (Universidad Tecnológica Nacional), FRBA (Facultad Regional Buenos Aires). It's my fourth year at the university.
I'm interested in software development, especiallyin object-oriented programming.
My non-Smalltalk experiences so far
Besides working with Smalltalk, I've worked with Java, Haskell, Prolog, C, C#, and learning others.
My Smalltalk experiences so far
I've studied Smalltalk at the university, and I've used Pharo. I've never worked with Samlltalk professionally, but I find it very interesting, and that's why I'm here.
Why am I interested in Smalltalk?
Since I've seen it at university, I find it very pleasing to work with it. I like that it's object-oriented mixed with functional features such as blocks. I also like some others features such as traits, and it's dynamic type checking.
Will I stay with Smalltalk after the project is finished?
